Dear Mr. Green,

Thank you so much for making an important Blue & Gold Ceremony for Pack #552 (changing of Cubmasters and all) big fun with your wonderful performance / magic show. Your show enthused a wide range of children (1st to 5th graders) plus siblings plus adults. That’s quite a challenge! I saw the smiles on the faces of adults (of course the kids) during your show. After your show ended, I received many compliments from both the exiting and entering Cubmasters (who also reflected input from many parents and leaders). I also received numerous compliments (for you!! – but I also got credit for choosing well!) from numerous other individual adult parents and leaders.

A few weeks later, I saw a magician / clown performer at my sons school. I noticed the performance enthralled the younger children but seemed to leave many of the 4th graders “borderline interested” and / or detached – bored looking. (The school only goes from K – 4th grade.) I realized even more the challenge you had and the success of your performance that seemed to have something for all ages.

The length of your show was perfect (not too long, not too short) – and involving the kids made all the difference in keeping everyone involved and interested.

I enjoyed meeting you. Magic is magical and fun!

Feel free to use Pack#552 – or myself- as a reference if needed anytime. Thanks again!

Maureen Fiebiger

Top Ten Reasons I Love Being a Magician

10. A magician can make real life seem like abstract art.

9. I don’t have to sit behind a desk.

8. The girls really like magicians (in reality I should have learned to play the guitar).

7. A deck of cards fits in your pocket better than a guitar.

6. As a magician I meet great people all the time.

5. Children think I am cool.

4. At least once a day I get to make someone smile.

3. As a magician I get to hang out with Elvis and Ronald Mc Donald.

2. As a magician I get paid to play.

1. The coolest thing about being a magician the look of astonishment on someone’s face when you fool them.
